Why We Do This
Our work is built on decades of experience in manufacturing companies, universities and international learning programmes. We understand Monozukuri philosophy more than manufacturing, but as a culture of craftsmanship, responsibility, learning and human development.
We publish works that have shaped thinking about manufacturing and leadership, as well as books that open new perspectives. Selected titles are carefully rediscovered, translated and designed. The result is an international library of lasting value for practitioners, academics and future generations.
Our aim ion is simple — connect readers with books worth owning. Our every title that gets published deserves a permanent shelf. We curate ours carefully, with an editorial eye shaped by years of reading, selling, and talking about books with people who love them.
How We Choose What We Carry
Editorial Judgment
Every title is read or reviewed by a member of our team before it joins the catalog. We do not stock books purely because they sell — we stock them because they're worth reading.
Print Quality Standards
We source only from publishers and printers whose binding, paper weight, and typography meet a physical standard we'd expect from a book we wanted to keep for twenty years.
Genre Depth Over Breadth
Rather than stocking a shallow slice of every category, we go deep in the genres we know best — literary fiction, narrative nonfiction, design, philosophy, and independent poetry.
The People Behind the Shelf
We’re a small international, interdisciplinary and multi-cultural team of dedicated readers and monozukuri practitioners. Together, we bring decades of experience in manufacturing, training and cross-cultural learning—and that perspective shapes every title we select, translate and publish to preserve the knowledge.

Raison d’être
We bring people into a living dialogue with the original thinkers and practitioners who shaped Monozukuri, so that knowledge handed down through generations becomes, through reading, reflection, and practice, their own way of seeing, judging, and acting.
Vision
The formative original works of industrial practice are alive and accessible throughout the world, across languages and generations. They empower people to see more clearly, think independently, and advance production with wisdom and responsibility.
